This past week in Sports saw the University of Miami get in their deepest mess since the 80′s, with a well-known Booster funding almost anything for players for 8 years. Al Davis & his Oakland Raiders, not surprisingly, took a chance on a great talent, but unpolished Terrelle Pryor in the 3rd Round of the NFL Supplemental Draft. Jim Thome, only a couple weeks after hitting HR 600, gets traded back home to the Cleveland Indians… looks like he’ll be retiring there, which is awesome. KD goes hammer-time as the MVP in the 2011 Goodman vs Drew League Summer Game. And good ol’ Black Mamba hung a light 45 Points & the Typical Game-Winning Buzzer Beater in his Drew League debut.
With all of this Summer movement, Scandals, Pro-Am Hoop Leagues, and NFL & NCAA Football coming soon, the NBA Lockout hasn’t bothered too many. Let’s hope it stays that way!
