King James scores Career High 61 Pts (MVP Race is Wide Open)

By in The Sports World

King James drops 61 Pts on the Bobcats, a personal Career-High, Miami Heat Record, and one point shy of the high-mark set at 62 by Carmelo (again, on the Bobcats) …it’s safe to say, the MVP Race with Kevin Durant is back to being WIDE OPEN.

The Most Impressive Thing about Lebron’s Career Scoring Night… he did it WITHOUT DUNKING. Scary.

2014 NBA All-Star Weekend

By in The Sports World

This years NBA All-Star Weekend in New Orleans was jammed packed with events & competition for charity. The Rising Stars Rookie/Sophomore game didn’t disappoint with a shootout from start to finish and dominating performance by the young Center, Andre Drummond, who won the MVP. Saturday was a pretty fun night as well, seeing the East vs West collide for the 1st time as Teams in skills, shooting, dunk competitions. Damian Lillard, who will become the first player to be involved in ALL 5 All-Star Events this weekend, has went 2 for 4 so far, winning in the Rising Stars Game & Skills competition, while being on the losing end of the 3-Point & Dunk Contests. Although, the Dunk Contest ended a bit prematurely due to the new contest rules/format… there were still a few gems, especially when John Wall delivered on a Alley-Oop Pump Reverse over his Washington Wizards mascot!
